Update 4 is live and available for testing on the Elder Scrolls Online PTS. Over here however, we’ll take a look at some of the features and fixes future updates are planned to bring. First of which is the Champion System for characters on an Elder Scrolls Online account. Then there’s the reset of Leaderboards as well as Loyalty Rewards for ESO account holders.
Champions of ESO gold hunting
Leveling systems often limit a character’s growth. The developers of Elder Scrolls Online are working on a new Champion System that will ensure players can still “grow” their characters as long as they wish. While this new system will take time to develop, if pulled off correctly, it can remove soft caps from the game. This however requires careful balancing of the game as it can drastically alter the statistics players have gotten used to. This however is necessary if characters are to be given continued growth.
ESO gold hunters Leaderboards reset
While no date has been discussed, the Leaderboards for the game will be wiped clean in the future. This is planned due to the effect certain exploits had on completion times. Of note are exploits that allowed players to generate lots of Elder Scrolls Online items, and Elder Scrolls Online gold. This then made Elder Scrolls Online weapons and Elder Scrolls Online armor much easier to obtain and use to finish trials. The Leaderboards are also planned to have a point system to encourage players to play through encounters instead of avoiding them.
Loyalty rewards for ESO gold fans
Another feature planned for the game is the Loyalty Program. Through this, TESO account holders will be rewarded with special in-game rewards based on the time they have been subscribed to ESO. This feature will be introduced in Update 4. Its first iteration will reward players a Hrothgar Wraith Vanity pet. More rewards for long time players are planned for the future.
