Having a separate healer and tank in Elder Scrolls Online is normal. ESO account holders however can earn Elder Scrolls Online gold much faster if they merge the two roles, and get an extra DPS. This Templar build known as the Fallen Shield of Meridia will show Elder Scrolls Online account holders just that.
Tanking with your ESO gold hunter
The Fallen Shield of Meridia is a build for Templars. ESO gold hunters will need a One-handed and Shield on their primary bar for it. This combination of Elder Scrolls Online weapons and Elder Scrolls Online armor, makes this build tough, but still able to heal.
The primary bar should have Inner Fire(Inner Beast) slotted. This ability allows your TESO gold hunter to taunt targets from afar. This is invaluable when keeping agro on you while dodging enemy attacks. Another skill on the bar should be Defensive Posture(Absorb Magic). This reduces block costs and turns spell damage into healing for your tank.
Keeping other ESO gold hunters alive
To help keep your allies alive and save Elder Scrolls Online items, Rushed Ceremony(Breath of Life) is added to the bar. This allows your character to heal the group quickly from range. Magelight(Inner Light) is taken to improve the critical chance when healing.
Save magicka to save ESO gold
Tanking and healing can easily drain your character’s resources. Thankfully, through Restoring Aura(Repentance), you can easily recover stamina and health for zero magicka. Just make sure there are corpses near your Templar.
For an Ultimate, use Rite of Passage(Practiced Incantation) for the Fallen Shield of Meridia build. This is used for situations your group absolutely must be healed. Once activated, the skill will provide an area of effect heal that cannot be interrupted. During this time your Templar can recover his or her other resources to continue tanking and healing.
